Star Wars: Episode VII has not seen its fair share of news since its announcement, and fanboys everywhere are getting antsy. What is the title going to be? Who will be cast? What characters will return? Those are just some of the pressing questions simmering in the minds of us nerds. Well it looks like we might see something exciting coming from Disney in the next couple days.
Rumor has it that since the New York Comic Con will be underway this weekend, a teaser trailer featuring an old Luke Skywalker will debut with Episode VII’s title. Did your light saber extend outward a bit? I know mine did. And I will be watching my feeds like a crazy ex girlfriend for the next couple days in anticipation for this teaser.
Obviously you do not want to get too excited about this, because all of this could be silly rumors. But a tweet sent out by Ali Arikan, the chief film critic of Dipnot TV, suggests that this info is all but true. The tweet is shown below, followed by its translation.
So here’s what I’m hearing about Star Wars: Episode VII. Casting and title announcements are imminent, possibly today or tomorrow. But that’s not all. I’ve heard word that there’ll be an announcement trailer/teaser featuring Luke.
