Michael Bay Wants to Make a Self-Financed Horror Film

The Hollywood Reporter recently posted an article, that focused mainly on the “master of horror”. You can probably guess that means those talented directors and writers that have brought our nightmares to life, and a lot of those masters gave their input into the article. One director that has not attempted the horror genre quite yet, chimed in on plans of making himself a horror classic. Get ready for a scarefest full of explosions and big boobed ladies running around covered in blood.

Michael Bay mentioned in the article that he has a vision he has been holding onto for a horror movie, and plans to make it a reality. Here is what he had to say:

I have a great fantasy — that I will probably make a reality — of directing my own self-financed horror movie, I love this genre because the movie is the star.

Self-financed? Well, he has the money for it, and him financing the movie himself will hold a more personal level to this flick. I have just grown tired of his style, but maybe he will surprise me when this film is released. Pain & Gain was a personal movie for him as well, which took quite awhile to get into production. Bay is currently shooting Transformers: Age Of Extinction right now, which is due out June 27, 2014.
