Residents of Yorksville, IL reported seeing a strange light in their skies, right over where they shot the Kent farm scenes in Man Of Steel. Residents then speculated that it had to do with Batman Vs. Superman, but the town claims they were never contacted by Warner Bros. or Zack Snyder’s crew.
Commander Phil Smith of the Sheriff’s office of Yorksville, helped coordinate the shooting of Man Of Steel, and mentioned he did not know about them shooting an scenes in the town. Kendall County Building and Zoning, Angela Zubko, then reported that from August to February a film will be shooting in this area, but did not say which film that is. Now we know that production is set to start next year, but given that production technically has started a couple weeks ago when they filmed a football game over here in LA, they might be getting more of a head start. Either that, or Yorksville is due for an alien invasion. Let me know what you think about this.
