Currently Ben Affleck is shooting the David Fincher movie, Gone Girl, but you can bet he is hitting the gym almost everyday to get ready to put on that batsuit in February for Batman Vs. Superman. Trouble with that is, the costume designer for Gone Girl is hating the fact that Affleck is beginning to increase in mass, and wishes he would slow down just a little bit.
I’m trying to keep him at the size he’s at right now until he’s done with us. I’m sure he’s working out but I think for him, he’s probably a guy that builds up really quickly so I just kind of asked him if he can stay where he’s at right now.
He’s a really big guy, like he’s quite tall. You don’t realize how big he is. He kind of reads smaller on film than he does in real life.
Ben Affleck is 6’4″ which is towering, and will be the tallest Batman that has ever been on the big screen. Add about 15 to 20 pounds in muscle, and he’s going to be a beast. I guess they will have to give Henry Cavill some lifts in those red boots of his, because he only stands at 6’1″. It is pretty funny to hear this though, and I guess once Gone Girl comes out in theaters, we will notice Ben Affleck increasing in size throughout the movie. Let me know your thoughts about this.
