Paul Walker to See an Honorable Send-off in Fast & Furious 7 Rewrite

The Fast & Furious 7 production was shut down indefinitely due to the tragic death of Paul Walker, and many, including myself, were wondering if the franchise was dead in the water. Filming of the sequel was still underway, and Walker had some crucial scenes to be shot in the coming weeks.

It seems that screenwriter Chris Morgan, has taken it upon himself to write Paul Walker’s character out of the story, but will do so in an honorable way. As of right now, Universal is helping out friends and family of Paul Walker, and it isn’t sure exactly when filming will start once again.

No word on the details of how they plan on writing Paul Walker out of the story, but they certainly can’t start from the beginning, simply because they have already spent $150 million on Fast & Furious 7. If they decided to reshoot the entire movie, the insurance company would have to pay the entire bill, and that would make the movie have the highest Hollywood insurance claim ever recorded. I say, long as they do it right, and have the fans  and cast support behind it, go forth and send him off. Let me know your thoughts about this.
