With Batman Vs. Superman being pushed back to 2016, the scale of movies coming out in 2015 sees a nice big chunk of space to fill. That space will now be filled by Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man, so now expect to see the beginning of Phase 3 on July 17th, 2015.
There is also rumor that the new Peter Pan adaption is going to be moved to that same date. I am sure the studio handling that movie is now thinking twice about it after hearing this news about Ant-Man, and will probably keep the original date.
Batman Vs. Superman will be released into theaters on May 6th, 2016, which seems like a lifetime away in the eyes of a Batman fan.
