Batman Vs. Superman Release Date May be Delayed, but Production May Still be on Schedule.

When word hit that Batman Vs. Superman was pushed back 10 months, many internet junkies, and Batfleck haters, came up with their own conclusions for the delay. “Affleck was hurt.” “The script blows!” It got sickening to read all that. Well if you actually read the official press release from Warner Bros., they strictly say they felt like Zack and crew needed more time to make this wet dream of a movie possible, so pushing back the release will help accomplish that. So then we figured that production wasn’t going to happen until about May, but oddly enough that might not be the case.

According to Deadline, production is seeing no delays, and they reported that Ben Affleck even dropped out of a directing gig because Batman Vs. Superman is still set to start principal photography in February. The directing gig was Fox’s new series called “The Middle Man”, in which was going to sit in the captains chair for the pilot episode. I guess it wasn’t nearly as important as this. Well of course not…it’s frickin’ Batman.

The only piece of information that might contradict this information, is the fact that when Gal Gadot’s news about her 3-picture deal, and salary, hit the internet waves, there was also mention she was going to begin shooting in May. This movie is definitely a pickle, but maybe, just maybe, this is how they wanted to orchestrate it. Throw people off that scent, and keep the bloggers guessing. I guess we will find out next month when we start seeing those production stills. I get hard just thinking about it. Let me know your thoughts about it.
