We already got conformation from J.J. Abrams that R2-D2 would return for Star Wars: Episode VII, but he was silent when it came to his partner in crime, C3PO. Obviously you can’t have R2-D2 and not have C3PO, but still, he didn’t say anything about the golden robot with not balls. Today, we pretty much got our answer when comes to that question on the new Studio Cine Live magazine cover shown above.
The cover shows a pretty weathered C3PO holding a 7 which, come on…if that doesn’t confirm it I don’t know what will. I do like the fact that he is showing signs of age given he has been through a lot when it comes to the Star Wars saga. Star Wars: Episode VII is due out in theaters December 18th, 2015, and let me know how excited you are to see your favorite droids return.
