New Full-Length Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trailer and Character Posters are Here!

We finally have a full-length Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer, as well as some nifty character posters showing us the Mutant Fab Four. The trailer shows us each character in all their glory, including that big, huge monstrosity, that is Shredder. I don’t understand what they were thinking when they designed his armor. I get that these filmmakers don’t want to rehash what has already been done, but a crazy live-action Turtles movie has not been done. The movies from the 90s where awesome, but we didn’t see those crazy action sequences that we saw in the cartoon or comics, so why change the mythos of something that is beloved in our childhood?

Okay, so I went on a bit of a diatribe, but can you blame me? Check out the trailer below, as well as the character posters. Let me know what you think.

I get your point to an extent but in that trailer the original Shredder armor/suit is briefly shown with the comment of improving the armor. So, it’s an upgrade. Who doesn’t like upgrades? Christopher Nolan’s upgraded Batmobile was sweet and light years better than the crap Joel Schumacher crammed down our throats. In fact, from leaked pics, Zach Snyder is borrowing that look in his version of Batman (of which I have a big diatribe about but that’s a different topic).
Personally, being one who is pushing the half-way point of their 40’s, I’m feeling a little bit better about this movie after seeing the trailers. The turtles definitely haven’t looked this ‘good’ and since the creators of the TMNT had a hand in this movie I think our Fab Four will be fine. The younger folk who saw the trailer thought it was cool. Besides, if the Transformers series can rake in the disgusting amount of money that it has, then this has the potential to be another big cash cow for Michael Bay (producer role here).
