Disney knew they had had a cash gamma when they green-lit the live-action Maleficent movie, so immediately after that movie was underway, Into the Woods went into pre-production stages, bringing more characters from your childhood to the big-screen.
Into the Woods has a star-studded cast that includes, Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, and Johnny Depp, and it’s Meryl Streep who conspires to teach lessons to popular children’s characters. In the first trailer, you get to see some Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood. Johnny Depp plays the Big Bad Wolf, and you don’t really get a good look at him, but he indeed looks pretty big and bad. So check out the trailer below and let know what you think of it.
