Looks like Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye gets a wardrobe upgrade for Avengers 2, as you can see by the image above. The image is brought to us by Empire Magazine, and the full image is actually below, where we get our captain, Mr. Joss Whedon, showing Renner how to handle that bow and arrow.
Some other interesting news about Renner’s character surfaced today, which might see Hawkeye in Captain America 3.
There are rumblings of Captain America 3. I don’t know what’s going to happen there. I’ve got to find the time, man (laughs). I’m trying to stay home and I can’t.
Oh you love this Jeremy Renner. It would make sense to include Renner in Cappy 3, just because we had Black Widow in The WInter Soldier with no mention of Hawkeye. Time for him to kick a little ass with Falcon and the Captain. Renner did mention that his schedule is looking pretty full with Mission: Impossible 5 starting production, and other projects lined up:
Kill the Messenger is a great one for our company. It’s our first one we’ve produced and it’s setting a tone for what we want to do to the public and to other people that want to make movies. Another one is King of Heists that’s about the biggest bank robbery in American History. It’s very, very exciting. It’s kind of like Heat in the early 1900’s. It’s really cool. And then, there’s a Steve McQueen project (McQueen) that’s fascinating to me. I love that guy. He’s so the antithesis of himself constantly. It’s amazing. And then Slingshot is a great rally racing movie. It’s again another one with themes of underdogs. But then, I still have Mission: Impossible 5 that I’m going to shoot in a week. And then,Bourne will happen next summer.
The man is busy, but maybe he will find the time to shoot some crafty arrows with Captain America. Let me know what you think about Hawkeye in Captain America 3.
