It’s been 32 years in the making but we are finally getting Blade Runner 2. Some would say that is way too long for a sequel to come out, and I would agree. The only shit of it is: I want to see this sequel. The first Blade Runner was ahead of its time, and I loved the dark toned future Ridley Scott created. Scott recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the sequel, as well as Prometheus 2.
It’s written and it’s damn good.Of course it involves Harrison, who is a survivor after all these years – despite the accident (referring to Ford’s “Star Wars” injury). So yes, that will happen.
Scott not only has the two sequels on his plate, but he also plans on doing a movie called The Martian before Blade Runner 2, which could mean he might just be a producer for Prometheus 2.
That’s the problem, I’ve got a lot of ducks in a row. But they’re all written.
All three movies sound like winners in my book, so whether Scott will direct them all or not, I’m on board. Let me know your thoughts about what he had to say.
