Zack Snyder chimes in on Man of Steel 2 stating that Batman v Superman is really the sequel to his Superman movie. Think about it: Superman has to answer for the destruction of Metropolis, and he has to answer to Batman. Done. Really Warner and DC are telling one giant story, so technically every movie that is coming out is a kind of sequel (or prequel) to Man of Steel.
