Zack Snyder Teases Justice League Assembled and Jesse Eiesenberg Talks Bald

Zack Snyder Teases Justice League Assembled and… by filmjunkee

More quotes from the captain himself, Zack Snyder, as he talks more about Batman v Superman. He also teases seeing the Justice League assemble, which just gives me blue balls.

I love Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman, but having Flash and Aquaman and Cyborg and to see them all standing together, it’s a pretty dorky and cool experience for me. Basically every one of those characters has a logo that you would recognize without them standing there, and that’s a hard thing to achieve in this pop-culture world. We have history to draw on, but we also have these new frontiers to forge.

Snyder also mentions that he actually offered a different role to Jesse Eisenberg. Specualtion suggests that the role was Scoot McNairy’s role. And we’ve all guessed that he is playing Jimmy Olsen.

Let’s call it a secret, but nevertheless it was the exact opposite of Lex Luthor.  I feel like once [Eisenberg] found out who Lex was he embraced it.  Once you kind of start digging into Lex, it’s a bit of a scary thing to be that guy. I don’t think he just goes ‘Oh, I’ll just be that guy and then when I go home I’m not him.’ I think the thing with Jessie is he wasn’t immune to the reality of playing a super-scary character.

Jesse Eisneberg discussed the scene where Luthor will lose his hair.

When you see the movie, you’ll see. It’s the greatest scene that I’ve ever gotten to take part in — it accounts for the change in hair. The only difference between this movie and everything else I’ve ever been in is this has an audience that has prior expectations, and that’s the only thing that I find disconcerting because it feels like some people are occasionally ready to get angry at me for the part they haven’t seen me play yet. It’s bewildering.
