I can feel your pain after you read the title of this post. I am sobbing as well, but remember, I wrote the word ‘might’. Seems that J.J. Abrams and Disney are having a difficult time keeping on the schedule Disney originally conjured up for Star Wars Episode VII. This probably has a lot to do with the original screenwriter, Michael Arndt, departing as the film’s scribe, and Abrams taking over. The script is not close to being done, and production is supposed to start early next year to see a 2015 Summer release. There have been rumors that they might push the movie back to a 2016 date, but Disney does not want to do that, considering they want 2 more movies after episode VII, as well as 2 spin-off flicks. They were hoping to fit all these movies in a 6 year schedule, but that dream is slowly fading away.
I will keep you guys posted on what is happening over there in a galaxy far, far away, and hopefully they can get things in order.
