It’s A Wonderful Life is considered the ultimate holiday movie, and it plays on countless TV networks every year to ring in the holiday season. Staring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, the movie focused around a man down on his luck, wishing he hadn’t been born, where he then gets to see how life would have been if he wasn’t born. Well get ready, because a sequel to the classic is in the works. 67 years is ample time between movies, right?
The title of the sequel will be called, It’s A Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story, and the new film will center around George Bailey’s grandson, who conveniently is named George as well, and Bailey’s daughter Zuzu returns as an angel to show George how much better things would have been if he wasn’t born. The original actress, Karolyn Grimes, will return as the daughter after all these years, and producers are hoping that some of the original cast members, such as Jimmy Hawkins and Carol Coombs, Tommy and Janie Bailey, will return as well for the sequel.
I will give you one guess on when this movie is supposed to come out. Of the holiday season, but in 2015. The year where box office sales will cause an apocalypse. No directors, or lead actors has been cast yet, but I will keep you informed once they do.
