Gal Gadot was added to the already stellar mix of characters as Wonder Woman in Batman Vs. Superman last week, but you got to wonder if she will end up being a love interest to either of the superheroes. Obviously she is a more suitable fit for the Man of Steel, but then you got to consider Lois Lane, and will there be some sort of love triangle between the three. I certainly hope not, and Amy Adams chimed in an a recent interview for her new movie, American Hustle, and where she would like to see things go with Wonder Woman added to the mix.
Oh did they? I don’t even know so clearly I’m not the person to talk to. That’s awesome, I hope I get a scene with her. I love working with the gals. I think we start [filming] in February, it’s sort of the plan. I’m excited, I think it’s gonna be awesome!” I think it’s gonna be good times.
Then in a completely separate interview, she had time to dwell on the idea, and had this to say about it:
Am I interested? I don’t know. I mean, we’ll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we’re not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries. That would be fun. It would be nice of women weren’t always catfighting and stuff!
I completely agree with her, because we do not need a love triangle in the mix of this story. I don’t think Zack Snyder would ruin his anticipated superhero romp, but part of me is a little scared of this Wonder Woman love triangle notion. Let me know what you guys think about this.
