It has been over twenty years since we’ve gotten a live-action Flash, and given that the CW’s Arrow series has been a smash hit, the CW decided to expand the DC Universe by adding The Flash to their line-up. They just released the first official image of Grant Gustin dawning The Flash cowl, and the kid inside me just got gitty. Love how they incorporated the lightning bolts on the cowl. One question: Where’s the movie?!
Gustin has already appeared as Flash’s alter-ego, Barry Allen, in the Arrow series, but he will now bring justice to his own city. Production of the pilot will begin next week, so I am guessing the series will premiere some time in the Fall. Let me know your thoughts about The Flash cowl.
