You want to know just how confident Marvel is? Allow me to elaborate for you. May 6th, 2016, is a date we are all looking forward to, because that is the date for the epic battle of Batman Vs. Superman. The release date was pushed back to this date, which had some of us scratching our heads because it seemed Marvel had that date slated for an untitled movie. Some thought it might be the date for Dr. Strange, but now it seems to the date for Captain America 3. Guess the Captain wanted in on the superhero action.
Kevin Feige of Marvel certainly has a huge set of danglers on him, which I guess comes with the territory. From an outside perspective: it’s very stupid. Sure, this would make box office history by having the first ever dueling superhero movies go up against each other in box office battle, but this is the third Captain America movie. There is just no way it will overcome Batman Vs. Superman, because the buzz around that movie is far greater than the third Captain. I don’t think anyone is even thinking about the third Captain America movie yet, because, well, the second one hasn’t even come out yet! And to not budge on this date just seems like a dumb idea in my eyes, and I know one of these studios will end up changing their date for their movie. Either that, or the apocalypse will hapen.
