Speculation was actually right for once when it came to casting for Star Wars Episode VII. Academy Award winner for 12 Years a Slave, Lupita Nyong’o, was once rumored to be joining the galaxy far, far away, and it has become official that she will be joining the cast. You Game of Thrones fans out there will recognize the other actress cast today alongside Lupita. Gwendoline Christie has also been added to the cast, and is best known from the popular series.
So I guess we pretty much have the entire cast now. I can’t see them adding more people to the already heavy cast, but you never know what surprises Mr. Abrams likes to give us. Star Wars Episode VII hits theaters December 17th, 2015, and is currently in production in Dubai. Let me know your thoughts about.
