There’s a lot of info pouring out of the DCEU that we have to take with an HUGE grain of salt. Given the low box office numbers for Justice League, many are worried about what Warner Bros. is now planning, and especially about our beloved Superman, Henry Cavill. Still no announcement for Man of Steel 2, and many wondered if now he will return. Relax. He’s contracted for at least one more movie and he loves this character so he’s not going anywhere.
There’s a wonderful opportunity to tell the Superman story. Now there is a fantastic chance to show Superman in his full colors and tell a very complex, character-driven movie that is based on story and have that wonderful sensation of hope and happiness. A feel-good movie with lessons laced in there as well.
