Lucasfilms has to be leading up to something with all of these old Star Wars teaser trailers being released. I speculated last week when the Empire Strikes Back trailer dropped that maybe they plan on leading into the teaser trailer to Star Wars Episode VII. Apparently I am not the only who contemplated this, because I have read other sites thinking this might happen too. With that, today we get the original teaser trailer to Return of the Jedi. Although that Jedi had ‘revenge’ in his eyes before he returned.
I remember hearing long ago that George Lucas indeed titled the last Star Wars episode in the original trilogy, Revenge of the Jedi. Revenge would then show up in the last episode of the new trilogy, and there have been rumors that Episode VII’s title may be Rise of the Jedi. Only time will tell, and I think Episode VII’s teaser trailer might surface sometime soon. Check out Jedi’s teaser trailer down below for a bit of nostalgia.
