John and Sarah Connor Roles Already Being Offered for Terminator 5

Terminator-5-casting

Terminator 5 was officially announced a couple months ago, and it was reported that it would be somewhat of a reboot. The movie is slated for a 2015 release, but the story was quite unclear. Apparently we now have a little bit of what the story might be, and actors that have been offered the roles of John and Sarah Connor.

Emilia Clarke (Game Of Thrones), Brie Larson (Scott Pilgrim), and Margot Robbie (The Wolf On Wall Street) have all been offered the Sarah Connor role. Garrett Hedlund (Tron Legacy) and Boyd Holbrook (Milk) were apparently offered the role of John Connor. Now, if you actually look at the age of these actors, you will find out that they are far too close in age to be mother and son. This then leads us to believe there will be some timeline jumps, where we get a young Sarah Connor before she have John. I am kind of liking that idea.

The story of the new Terminator  was reported that they might pull a Star Trek. Make the movie a reboot with out actually being a reboot. This means the timeline gets altered, and then we get an all new tangent to the original timeline we already know. I like that idea, but here is the unofficial storyline of the movie.

The movie may be set back in the 1940s, or 50s, and a protector will be sent back in time to protect Sarah Connor’s parents from a Terminator before she is born. That man…Arnold Schwartzengger. He will intervene, and then the machines will base their newly designed human looking cyborgs after this protector, and that is how that is born.

That is a completely terrible storyline. Unless the they plan on designing the new cyborgs after a 66 year-old flabby man, this will not happen. And having a machine go after the parents of Sarah Connor in the 50s sounds like a repeat of the regular story. Hopefully this is all just silly rumors, and they plan to go for something much better.

Any more information about the new sequel I will let you guys know. Let me your thoughts about the casting and the unofficial story.
