Kevin Spacey decided to chime in on the random casting of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in Batman Vs. Superman. If you guys don’t remember (or you chose to forget) Spacey played the Superman arch villain in 2006’s Superman Returns. He was fantastic as Lex, but it wasn’t enough to satisfy superhero movie goers. Let’s see what he says about Eisenberg as Luthor.
First of all, I think [Jesse Eisenberg] is a remarkable actor. He’s just going to f***ing own it. I think it’s a great idea and I wish him the best with it.
Yes, it’s not a shock that another actor is supporting the decision, but the fact that he dropped the F-bomb shows it a lot of credibility. We must remain optimistic folks.
