Liam Neeson brings his bad assery to the big screen again, but he had four movies to go up against this weekend. The only movie that really stood a chance to him was the young-adult adaptation, The Maze Runner, and it looks like Liam Neeson doesn’t appeal to the younger crowd. The Maze Runner was victorious in the box office this weekend making $32.5 million, leaving A Walk Among Tombstones in a distance second with $13.1 million.

  1. The Maze Runner                                          $32.5 million/$32.5 million
  2. A Walk Among Tombstones                          $13.1 million/$13.1 million
  3. This is Where I Leave You                             $11.9 million/$11.9 million
  4. No Good Deed                                              $10.2 million/$40.1 million
  5. Dolphin Tale 2                                               $9 million/$27 million
  6. Guardians of the Galaxy                                $5.2 million/$313.7 million
  7. Let’s Be Cops                                               $2.7 million/$77.2 million
  8. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles                        $2.7 million/$185 million
  9. The Drop                                                       $2 million/$7.7 million
  10. If I Stay                                                          $1.8 million/$47.8 million

Tusk didn’t even make the top 10, but it was in limited release so it makes sense. I’m sure Smith will make his money back. Let me know what you saw this weekend and what you thought about it.
