Looks like the Guardians of the Galaxy might add three characters to their team, as well as take on planet-sized villain. Possible spoilers folks. You have been warned.
According to Geek.com, Ego the Living Planet might show up in the sequel. Ego isn’t always the villain, but he does have mood swings that make him a villain. Thor has had to deal with him many times which begs the question on why he won’t be part of Thor Ragnarok. That could be a possibility still though.
Now for the added three to the group: Yondu, played Micael Rooker in the first, Nebula, Gamora’s sister, and newcomer Mantis also might join as well. I like it. Let me know your thoughts.
