Wolverine 3 Now Called 'Logan' and Gets… by filmjunkee
Hugh Jackman promised some great news from Wolverine 3, and he was correct. Wolverine 3 is now officially titled “Logan” and the first poster is fantastic. This film is going to be gritty and raw and nothing like we have seen before in the X-Men world.
New details have also risen from an image of a page of the script posted by the director, James Mangold. According to these details, Logan takes place in 2024 and Logan has seen better days. His mutant ability to heal doesn’t work like it used to, so he uses alcohol as a painkiller. The government now uses young mutants as weapons, and as you can see in the poster, there’s a young hand with Logan’s hand. That hand is apparently a female hand that is most likely X-23, and she will have two claws instead of three. The Bangers are represented in the page that was posted from the Logan script.
Professor X is older too of course, and his powers are unstable. He doesn’t recognize Logan half the time, so I can see some heart-wrenching scenes in this movie.
