Charlie Hunnam has surely started making a name for himself with Sons Of Anarchy, and got his first lead role in a blockbuster movie with Pacific Rim. Recently, he won the role of Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of 50 Shades Of Grey, and got his fair share of backlash from those luring fans of the book. Not as much as Batffleck, but people out there just do not have an opened mind.
Hunnam has now dropped the role, and even though some ladies out there are now wallowing about this news, I think it is smart on his behalf. The reason for the departure was because of scheduling conflicts with SOA. It is smart to concentrate on the hit show that made your career and drop the movie that has potential to hurt it. Here is what they had to say about it:
The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.
As soon as I hear who they will get as his replacement, I will let you know.
