Wolverine has certainly shown up in many of the X-Men movies, and it does not look like we have seen the last of him. We will see him once again in next year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, but now we are hearing word that a new Wolverine stand alone movie is already in the works.
Hugh Jackman and James Mangold are ready to bring Wolverine to the big screen once again in his own brand new adventure. James Mangold is the director to the recent iteration of the comic book character, The Wolverine, and he is cutting a deal to bring on a third movie. I certainly am not surprised about this, simply because I really enjoyed the last Wolverine movie. Many found it a lot more pleasing than the X-Men Origins flick, and let’s fact facts; Hugh Jackman was meant for this character. Yes, Hugh is getting up there in age, but look at the guy. He gets more ripped into shape with each movie, and he even said himself in an interview that not many actors land an iconic character such as Wolverine, so why not do as many movies as possible?
Details to the story of the new movie have not been leaked, but once they do, I will get it out there to you. Let me know what you thin about another Sequel.

Hugh’s a smart cookie. He knows he won’t be able to play this part forever, so why not keep it running as long as he can? It gives him a stable income, and clearly isn’t keeping him from doing other, more “serious” projects (Les Miz, Australia). But more importantly, he’s clearly having a blast cementing himself as *the* Wolverine to a generation of superhero film fans.
