Star Wars Episode VII has certainly seen its far share of question marks lately. With Disney pushing for a Summer 2015 release, and the crew saying 2016 we would be better, they have both come to a median and it looks like December 18th, 2015 is when the saga will continue.
We’re very excited to share the official 2015 release date for ‘Star Wars: Episode VII, where it will not only anchor the popular holiday film going season but also ensure our extraordinary filmmaking team has the time needed to deliver a sensational picture.
That was said by Alan Horn, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios, and it sounds like the logical choice for this movie to be released during the holiday season. The 2015 Summer blockbuster season will see a slew of big movies, but now we have one of those big movies coming out during Christmas time.
