Wonder Woman has finally been cast in the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman movie. The actress that gets to crack the whip while the other two battle it out, is Gal Gadot. Most of you might recognize her from the recent Fast & Furious movies, and now she will be the first to play Wonder Woman/Diana Prince on the big screen. Her is what Director Zack Snyder had to say about the character and the actress:
Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.
So now we got our Wonder Woman, and I am sure after this announcement, we will start hearing the casting to some of the other characters of the movie. The movie is set to begin its official production in February, so as more casting news is given, I will let you know.
