Tom Cruise well jump into the sci-fi genre once again, with his new movie called Edge of Tomorrow. Cruise stars as Colonel Bill Cage, and it takes place in the future where humanity is fighting a huge war with an alien race. Cage dies on the battlefield, but for some reason, gets stuck in a time loop, and he has to relive the day he dies over and over again, until he can find out just what exactly is going on. Think Groundhog Day meets HALO.
Starring alongside Cruise is the gorgeous Emily Blunt. Yes, I am in love with her, and she helps Cruise along his journey on finding out what exactly is going on with this time loop. It actually looks like a pretty good sci-fi action romp in my opinion. Edge of Tomorrow is due out in theaters on June 6th, 2014, so check out the trailer and let me know what you think.
