Avengers: Age of Ultron might see another villain for our favorite superheroes to face. Seems that a tipster in the Marvel world has revealed that Marvel and Disney are seeking out an imposing Caucasian man between the age of 40 and 50 to play a certain role in Avengers 2. Anyone familiar with Baron Von Strucker?
Speculations have suggested that Baron Von Strucker might be the second villain in Avengers 2. This information comes from Latino Reviews, El Mayimbe, who is known for finding out such news as this about movies.
Baron Von Strucker is the leader of Hydra, which is a sworn enemy of S.H.I.E.L.D and the Avengers. Apparently Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (who have been confirmed for Avengers 2) worked with Hydra, and Joss Whedon has included that in an early draft of the script. Baron Von Strucker has the ability to to die over and over again, and is apparently ageless, so add that to the already indestructible Ultron, and you got yourself a challenge for our beloved Avengers.
There has been no confirmation from Marvel or Whedon about this second addition to Avengers 2, but considering that it is the sequel, I have no doubt in my mind that Whedon has added another villain to the fun. As soon as I found out more information about this I will let you know.
