If you want to read this post…proceed. If you don’t, click here for the homepage. Not going to lie, I had a thought one time. And that thought was, “I bet Hollywood would try to adapt a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure‘ book series.” Sadly…I was right.
21st Century Fox is bringing the beloved book series, where you decided the fate of the characters, to the big screen. They have chosen their writers and director for this task, and oh is it task. The writers tackling this movie will be Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon, who have scribed Night at the Museum movies and starred in Reno 911. They brought the director of the recent flick, We’re the Millers, Rawson Marshall Thurber, so we will see what she does with this idea.
Now, this could be an actual nuclear bomb, but maybe, just maybe, they have something creative up their sleeves. Maybe they will have an app for everyone to download, so people can choose the fate of the characters on screen. The majority of votes will display on-screen, but then if it’s the wrong one, the movie is over. Maybe the movie will have multiple stories to be on the safe side. Let me know what you guys think about this ambitious adaptation.
