Looks like there might be a cameo of yet another superhero in the Batman Vs. Superman world. Latino Review got their sources telling them that Zack Snyder and crew are looking for a black actor in his early 20s who is physically fit. The role would be a small one in Batman Vs. Superman, but will be a recurring character in the DC Universe. Guess it doesn’t get more obvious than that.
There were early rumors that Michael B. Jordan had met with Zack Snyder. Some speculated it was for the John Stewart Green Lantern. Now people are speculating it is for Cyborg, but now that Jordan landed the role as Johnny Storm (Human Torch) in the Fantastic Four reboot, there might be a conflict there of some kind.
Sources say that the studio and director Zack Snyder aren’t casting a wide net with plenty of auditions to fill roles but are targeting actors from a narrow shortlist of those they want. “Zack doesn’t see a lot of people,” said one person with knowledge of the process.
The was said by The Hollywood Reporter before Jess Eisenberg was cast as Lex Luthor, so Snyder knows who he wants to play these characters. Any more info on this and I will let you know.
