Nowadays, when it comes to gaming console wars, we have Sony and Microsoft duking it out for the best gaming experience. But if your childhood was spent in the ’90s, then you know the console war was between Nintendo and Sega. Both very different consoles with classic games that are still relevant today.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg plan to bring the book “Console Wars” to the big screen once the book is released in May, that of course is about the war between Sega and Nintendo. They will write the script, as well as direct the movie together, and you can imagine Rogen will star in the picture.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have written such comedy classics as Superbad and Pineapple Express, so you can bet there will be a nice comedy spin to the material. I, for one, am excited to hear this, and anyone who loved video games in the ’90s probably is too. Let me know if you are.
