There he is folks. In the costume. Earlier this week, we got a look at Henry Cavill as Clark Kent on the set of Batman v. Superman, and today, we get a new interview from the captain, Zack Snyder, alongside this fairly dark-ish kind of photo of Supes.

Snyder sat down with USA Today to discuss the world he is slowly creating. Here is what USA Today said about the story of Dawn of Justice:

Dawn of Justice’ continues to immerse Superman on Earth by working at the Daily Planet as Clark Kent along with Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Perry White (Laurence Fishburne). But it also takes him to new environments such as Gotham City and introduces larger threats, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). The debuting heroes Superman meets will affect his perspective on Earth and on the ones he loves, and Snyder feels his convictions will be drawn into question as well.

He was also asked why they decided to go with a straight “v” instead of “vs”. He mentioned that they didn’t want the entire movie to be the two heroes versus each other, so they changed it to that to be the most subtle way to make it feel like that. He then talked about his version of Batman stating, “It’s cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys.” I agree with that notion, then he went on to talk about Gal Gadot and how she is working very hard getting into shape for the role.

Batman v. Superman hits theaters May 6th, 2016, so let me know what you think about what Snyder said, and how the first official image looks.
