Kevin Smith has certainly (and unwillingly) been making the rounds movie news lately, due to him just being him. First he visits the Star Wars 7 set, and talks a little bit about his experience, as well as posting a picture of a tear rolling down his cheek. Of course he couldn’t drop too much info about the set, but then the rumor starts floating around that he was involved in a Batman v. Superman conspiracy.
No doubt you have already heard that there is an apparent Batman v. Superman script floating around the digital streets, and the writer is supposedly the man himself. This was to throw us movie blogs off the scent of what is really going on with the flick, but it did seem a bit drastic. Kevin Smith went to the tweets today stating that he has had no involvement with a fake script, but did say he was busy doing something the past year.
No, I didn’t write a fake Batman v Superman script. But I HAVE kept busy regardless… http://t.co/dPdZtLTzie Thanks for saying #WalrusYes !

1 year ago, you said #WalrusYes so I wrote Tusk. Today, I present our official poster!
I am very much looking forward to this movie, because it is going to be out there, and you just can’t go wrong with a Smith flick. No official date has been set for Tusk quite yet, but it will release some time this year. Let me know your thoughts about the Batman v. Superman denial, as well as how much you are looking forward to the new movie.
Cant wait for Tusk, anything Kevin Smith does is interesting, and I like the fact that he has broken out of the mold that we was pegged in to. He is not just an amazing comedy writer and director.
