Today was a pretty interesting day for our superhero from the sea. First, a bunch of different Movie blogs posted that Jason Momoa was officially confirmed to play Aquaman with all of them sourcing and article posted on Variety.com. Little did they know that the article the Variety posted, was posted on June 16th. So NO CONFIRMATION. Always a good thing to check those dates.
After all of that was cleared up, more information about this character surfaced stating that Warner Bros. and DC hired on two screenwriters to pen two different Aquaman scripts. Warner Bros. would then choose the best one, and an Aquaman solo movie will be born. The two screenwriters are Will Beall (Castle, Gangster Squad) and Kurt Johnstad ( Act of Valor, 300: Rise of an Empire). Hopefully making it a kind of compitetion, both these writers scribe something pretty amazing.
