Check it out guys. It’s Lex Luthor…Jr. That’s right. Fortune.com got an interview with the young scallion, where he talks about taking over his father’s empire. Fake interview of course, but I love the marketing that they are doing with Batman v Superman. Maybe they’ll get an interview with Bruce Wayne next.
Jesse Eisenberg also has been talking about his villain character, and stresses that he wasn’t really about comicbooks growing up but felt like it helped so he wasn’t a smiling comicbook fan on set.
There is this trove of stuff about this guy. A lot of it’s repetitive, like he always winds up on the roof of his building giving some faux benevolent talk about how he’s going to change the city. It’s fun to take that campy cartoony stuff and try to put it into a real person and try to reconcile the two.
On Batman v Superman:
So different … it has real psychological underpinnings, and this movie character feels like a real scary person.
