Friday night, we received a nice surprise from actor Said Taghmaoui as he posted the image of him and Chris Pine on the set of Wonder Woman. WB probably scolded him a bit for that, as you cannot find that image on his Instagram anymore. Taghmaoui didn’t stop there though. He recently interviewed with a French magazine called Ultra, and shined some light on his character.
After just having finished shooting Infiltrator, you’ve already hopped onto your next project, Warner Bros.’ superhero blockbuster Wonder Woman. What role will you be playing?
I’ll be playing a superhero, but details are still under wraps. I can’t tell you much.
How did you get the role?
Hard work, luck. I was among hundreds of potential candidates, and I slowly became the favorite. It wasn’t easy. It took me three months.
What process will you go through? What kind of preparation will you have to undertake?
I’ll have to go through extensive physical training. Shooting is scheduled to begin in November and it will take about 6 months, in 4 different countries.
Playing a superhero is the dream of those who want to change the world. Which super powers would you like to have and what would you do with them?
Being a super hero was a dream for me as a child. I would have love to travel in time and suppress all the bad things that happened before. I would have also like to have a super strength in order to fight injustice and protect those who are in need and to suppress all mankind sorrows.
A superhero? Interesting. Who is playing? Lot of people out there have suggested Dr. Fate, Hawkman, even Blue Beetle, but luckily no one has said Jason Todd. Let me know your thoughts on who he is playing.
