Wonder Woman Movie Gets New Release Date and… by filmjunkee
Warner Bros. is doing a tiny bit of damage control today. Batman v Superman is by no means a flop, but you can’t help notice that the movie under performed. Warner Bros. doesn’t seem to be too worried about it though, but they plan to put more focus on their DCEU, so therefore new dates to the movie slate of been announced.
Wonder Woman was set to hit theaters June 23, 2017, but we will now get it earlier on June 2, 2017. Transformers 5 was set to go up against the Amazonian Princess, so good move on WB. Two untitled movie dates have also been announced. October 5, 2018, and November 1, 2019, are the dates with untitled projects. My guess is that one of them is planned for a solo Batman movie with Ben Affleck, and the other possibly could be for Suicide Squad 2 that was rumored to already be in development.
