New Ghostbusters Trailer is the Most Disliked… by filmjunkee
The results are in. What do they say? You’re a misogynist. That’s right, if you did not like the new Ghostbusters trailer you just hate women. Well according to Screencrush, that is. This whole thing came back into our lives because yes, the Ghostbusters trailer is now the most disliked movie trailer in YouTube’s history. It has nothing to do that the trailer was poorly cut, and the jokes used were terrible. No. It’s women, therefore, we hate it.
The Star Wars The Force Awakens trailers, and the first Rogue One teaser that are both cherished franchise movies with a female led cast, have huge like to dislike ratios. Where’s the misogyny there? I’ll tell you where. In the comment section. It’s because they are basing this off of YOUTUBE COMMENTS. You know, the section where the worst of the worst of the internet comes to play? Forget the voices in the movie world who have dedicated shows or sites to critiquing everything movies. Forget that they pointed out the reasons why this trailer was disappointing. No we’re going to look at YouTube comments. Hardcore journalism.
