Star Trek Beyond will see one of the beloved Star Trek characters coming out as gay in the new sequel. That’s right. Changing of the a character’s sexual preference to appease the PC society we currently live in. George Takei, the original Sulu of course who is openly gay, reacted to the news about his character being gay in the new movie. Not what they were expecting I’m sure.
I’m delighted that there’s a gay character. Unfortunately, it’s a twisting of Gene’s creation, to which he put in so much thought. I think it’s really unfortunate.
