I don’t know where I was when they announced the writer/directors to the Joker and Harley Quinn movie, but THEY be picked. Glenn Ficarra and John Sequa are pretty much set to write and direct the deranged love story. It’s not fully official. I believe it’s like what they’re doing with Gavin O’Connor and Suicide squad 2, where he will rite the script and they will most likely give him the job after. Here’s what she said about the directors she has worked with on Focus and Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot:
I heard that too. They’re great! It’s fun working with a directing duo, and I love them. I’ve obviously done two films with them so I think they’re just brilliant. I’m personally a sucker for a love story. In any iteration. I think people enjoy seeing two characters who, in Harley and Joker’s case, would die for one another. It’s kind of romantic in a messed up way.
