Kelly Marie Tran Star Wars Harassment and the Ugly Side of Fandom

Kelly Marie Tran played Rose in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and given that that film was quite divisive, the opportunity of a lifetime for Tran was caught in the middle of a shitstorm. Many “fans” who didn’t like the flick didn’t like her character much either, so she saw a bit of harassment on her Instagram. She decided to walk away so I thought I’d talk about the ugly side of fandom.
