The deal between Marvel Studios and Sony always seemed a little complicated but MCU fans were just happy Spider-Man was in the universe with their other favorite Marvel characters. They didn’t care about the logistics, but those logistics apparently had some stipulations. Spider-Man Far From Home needs to make a billion dollar or Sony gets the movie rights back. It’s strange.
