According to director David F. Sandberg, Shazam 2 will not be retooled or have any additional shooting as everyone seems to be happy with the sequel.

David F. Sandberg is a good dude. Protect him at all costs. He made a video pointing out a VFX flub in the Shazam 2 trailer in the best way possible. Better than that one director.
