300: Rise of the Empire is due out next year on March 7th, and it will see the outcome of the war that the original 300 tried to prevent in the first movie. The Persians wage war on Sparta, and it is up to the widowed queen to lead a new army to defend their home.
This time around, Zack Snyder didn’t take the captain’s chair, obviously because he made Man Of Steel, and has been busy preparing the sequel. He did act as producer though, and even if it didn’t have him behind the camera, the 300 sequel still looks like it has his style that we saw in the first one.
